Poynton (3)

A view from the same point as the last picture, but this time looking north. The canal in Higher Poynton has moorings and a marina, and landlubbers can use the nearby Nelson's Pit car park, where there is a small visitor centre.

Here on the left behind the bridge is a chandlery and refreshment stop; nearby are a pub and a tea room.
