Lyme Park (1)
Lyme Park is the largest house in Cheshire. Formerly the home of the Legh family,
it was given to the National Trust in 1946.
Parts of the house date from the 16th century, but it was much modified in the 1720s
to designs by the architect Giacomo Leoni.
